This past weekend Straight "A" Athletics and Events hosted a camp/combine with athletes in attendance from Ohio, Nebraska and Michigan.  Here are some of the award winners!

Ryan Reese "Making the Grade"

"Making the Grade" is a section where we will highlight athletes who are making a difference on and off the field. Our first installment, features Ryan Reese of Trotwood-Madison High School. Ryan is a student athlete whose talent on the field has landed him various Division I offers including the University of Illinois. But his philanthropy off the field has helped a community. Former NBA great and NBA coach John Lucas will be putting on two premiere events.  Starting out with the Future of the Game West, May 5th and 6th in Las Vegas, NV; followed by the International Middle School Elite Combine in Houston, TX, May 12th and 13th featuring a hundred or so of the top middle school players from around the world. 

The Elite Middle School Combine is the most well run, talent rich events of its kind.  These are invitation only events given by Coach Lucas and his staff. (CLICK HERE)

Come To The Kalamazoo Clash...Bring Your "A" Game!

Straight "A" Athletics and Events in conjunction with MAYB hosted the Kalamazoo Clash.  A youth basketball tournament with the objective of bringing youth from around the Midwest to participate in top level basketball competition.  The youth basketball tournamet was held Saturday, April 21st at Western Michigan University in the Student Recreation Center.  Highlights & pictures of the event!
